Below is a list of important slash commands. Please note that this is not a full list of all of the slash commands in the game, just some beginner ones for a new player to know.
/dnd this one is basically a do not disturb. For instance type /dnd busy and anyone messaging you will get the word busy sent to them.
/pr <character name> promotes to group leader
/roundrobin each player takes a turn getting loot
/pvp flags you for pvp
/yield cancels a duel
.dismount takes you off of your mount
/i <character name> invites a targeted character, or another way /invite <name>
/ffa no rolling for loot
/f follow targeted player
/roll roll 1-100
/g guild chat
/p team chat
/y yell
/s say
/say <text> is a local channel and can only be heard by others nearby.
/gf <text> or "group finder" is a global channel and can be heard in other zones.
/Zone <text> can only be heard in your zone...as in only in the desert zone, or only in the start area zone.
/Market <text> is a global channel and can be heard in other zones .
/g <text> is a guild chat, and can be heard by other members of your guild.
/w <playername> <text> will whisper to another player.. it will show up to you as <yourname>:World: <text> and to them as <yourname>:Whisper: <text>
/invite <playername> invites someone to join your party.
/p <text> talks only to the other members of your party. By talking in the party channel, it is automatically set as your default channel.
/leave leaves a party.
/leave <channelname> leaves a channel.
/join <channelname> both creates a channel and sets it as your "default" channel.. example type /join z and now when you type in chat, it will show you talking in the "z" channel by default. To set your default to the local channel "Say" you must type /say (all lowercase). It does not work the reverse way. You cannot type /Market or /z or /join z(again) and switch to one of those channels as your default.. it is a one way road. This function is especially useful for groups who want to stay off the main channels.
-I'll leave this as a work in progress so that I can add more as I come across them.
