I know what your thinking, this is a ranger site so why is there a healing build posted? Well, it has to do with two boxing. Lately I have been running my Confessor along with my Ranger. I figured if anyone else out there would like to give it a try then perhaps this build would help them to set up their Confessor. Enjoy. After farming all the gold to get Double trait paths I was pretty excited to finally get it so I made a really crappy video that showed it. If you want to see what it looks like here you go. In this video my guildies and I are fighting the World Boss Dratanche, aka the Mummy boss. He is currently found in level 60 mode in the desert. I'm showing this video to demonstrate my strategy as a ranger on this particular boss. In this video you can see my Ranger Longshot standing behind the boss, this is the best place to be as a ranger on many bosses or even when fighting groups of mobs that are being tanked by a fighter or templar. Once the Tank aggros the boss simply run behind him, and only after you are in position should you send in your pet. The reason is that your pet will now also attack from the rear and will not visually be in the way of the tank, casters, or healers. Notice that my ranger is up close to the boss and not attacking from range. The reason is that this boss has no AOE attacks. Fighting in melee range allows me the use of my snares and my melee attacks in addition to my usual range attacks. I've been favoring my big bee pet lately, its called a Charmable anteaus and thats the pet in this video. This video was filmed by Twiisted. Enjoy. This is a video of my guild RET fighting the Weekend World Boss Turler, it was filmed by Massacer. Its not a ranger specific video by any means, but in it you can see my Ranger Longshot. I'm posting it because in this video you can see how a ranger contributes to this particular raid. In this video you can see my ranger near the boss providing AOE cover to aggro and dps most of the loose mobs that this boss spawns. Enjoy.
